Family Violence is a growing and pervasive problem; more human misery has been caused by domestic relationships than all of the wars in history combined! What we find unacceptable is when one human being purposely inflicts pain upon another and does so by design. This is when the course of abuse crosses the line into domestic violence, one human purposely, with malice inflicts pain upon another doing so by design applying a heavy hand to the other.
It does not matter if the abuse takes the form of physical, emotion, or sexual violence. It is the wave of the future with an exponential rate of growth over the past decade; domestic violence project is designed to challenge your thinking, engage in problem solving, and group discussion as you learn the basics in understanding the root cause of family violence. Violence between family members finds its roots in "transgeneration of abuse," where a child experiences or is witness to abuse either direct or indirectly, and as the child becomes an adult and like his or her parents before, the abuse is passed on.
